University student arrested as drug dealer

BANGKOK – This morning in front of Chokchai 4 police station a group of police officers arrested a man who drove BMW car. Firstly, the officers arrested him because he drove very fast. After the officers stopped the car, they noticed that this young man had weird reaction. So the officers decided to search for something that might be illegal in the car.

The police officers confined a young man and started to look into the car. Then the officers found some packages which were wrapped with brown papers. The officers considered them as suspect objects and took the young man to Chokchai 4 police station.

After those packages were examined, the officers found out that there were a lot of illegal drugs, approximately one-thousand pills. The young man was restricted the area to investigate for his guilt. 

“This young man is a student of a well-known private university which is near Rungsit. His name is Mr. Preeda Silakorn, and he’s only 19 years old” said the commanding officer of Chokchai 4 police station.

The police commander ordered the officers to investigate this case immediately in order to arrest the ringleader because they believed that it supposed to be a gangster. The young man confessed that before he was arrested he was going to send the drugs to many drug addicted at Big C Ladprao. If his plan was not fail, he would get money about million baht.

“It is very strange that nowadays a number of drug dealer is increasing, especially teenagers become drug dealers by the average of ages are under 20 years old” said the police second lieutenant.

The young man did not want to be in jail so he offered to use the money about 100,000 baht for bailing him out. It made people who knew the news were upset and wonder about police’s action. On the other hand, the commanding officer of Chokchai 4 police station informed that this case would be judged in procedure that was control by the law. Finally, the young man was jailed for 50 years for buying illegal drugs.
